Under Annapurna Conservation area there are many traditional  and typical villages among them  Lwang is one of them. Gurung village lies in northwest from pokhara which is just 30 km. It’s famous for lwang Ghale homestay which is one of the most successful village tourism products in Nepal. Whereas, host have preserved their cultural heritage very managed way that gives the uniqueness of remote Nepalese village. Everything are been undertaken by the coordination between Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and the home stay management committee have taken care for  hygiene and basics to host tourists.

Day 01: Drive from pokhara to  Lwang village

Start to drive northwest from pokhara to  Lwang village which is 1 hrs 45 minutes  . Overnight at  Homestay. The village is situated high up at the altitude of 1,550 m. We will stay in one of the community managed homestay with some of the lovely Gurung family and enjoy their warm hospitality. The fascinating view of  Mt Fishtail appears undisturbed in the northeastern backdrop of the village. Fresher foods are cooked from the kitchen garden of host and able to taste the fruits according to seasons.

Day 02:  Encounter village

You can participate and experience the village life, observe feeding and milking cattle, churning of yogurt and making butter, traditional way of grinding cereals to make flour for your meal. Learn about their custom , tradition  and culture and help them prepare your meal with ladies .

Day 03: Drive back to Pokhara.

Explore touristic places of pokhara  and get enjoy with pokhara nature .Overnight stay in pokhara.

Day 4 : Drive Back to Kathmandu
